Yesterday evening, I joined the MA in E-Learning Design and Development programme at MTU to give a talk about the influence of open practice on my career as a learning tech. It was a really interesting activity to undertake as it started to weave a narrative around many different projects and collaborations, but also choices and values I’ve adopted along the way. Overall, I think the talk is still a work in progress as it needs to be streamlined, but it’s a piece of work that I’ll definitely revisit for a longer post or revised talk soon.

  • Thanks for the slides. I think the highlight for me is ‘join sustainable networks’. So glad you have been able to join the Third Space Slowposium with zine magic as well. I’ve enjoyed working through that and roughing out my zine currently. My OEP has also been part of my SFHEA writing (pending).

    • Thanks, Wendy! It was hard not to get too personal in that talk given how much some of those networks have shaped me professionally, and even sustained me personally. I have to carve out some time to get into the symposium materials myself. These two weeks are just so busy. I still intend to finish CMALT as part of my OEP, but I’ve been saying that for years now! 😉
